Burg to play first game on new Campbell Park field

The Tampa Bay Rays & the City of St. Petersburg dedicated Campbell Park Baseball Field to the community. They announced that Burg Baseball will play the first game on this field against the Wildwood Dodgers on Saturday, February 25. Attendees included Mayor Rick Kriseman, Tampa Bay Rays President Brian Auld, Rays Shortstop Tim Beckham, Burg President Charles Castle, and Burg VP Cliff Williams. Good Sports donates gear and uniforms to Burg

Massachusetts-based Good Sports, an organization that seeks to share the benefits of athletics with all children, donated thousands of dollars in gear to Burg Baseball this offseason. From bats to catcher's suits to uniforms, the equipment will help the league outfit dozens of children across several teams in the 2017 season. Burg debuted much of the gear in February at a scrimmage between the Bombers and the Lion Kings. Thank you to Good Sports, and Go Burg!
